Bit disappointed to find the replacement back box tail pipes are just plain steel, will probably go rusty in a short while. I did look at taking the old chrome pipes off but they were welded on.

Nice bikes. I always found Scotts a little short in the length for my build personally though. I have a 21.7lb Santa Cruz Superlight, a Blur and a Ti rigid. I love all that stuff. Good on you. I've not done the Alps, it is worth the money? Who (which holiday firm) did you go with?

Also got a Yeti 575, Been to the Alps twice once with Alpine Elements and then Endlessride. The French in Morzine have messed up a bit by banning the English guides and only allowing the French to do the guiding. Off to the Alps again end of June for the Passportes du Soleil

I really enjoy the Alps, I prefer the Cross country to the serious downhill, the ski lifts allow you the freedom of travel without the pain of the hills. Also off to Breacon Beacons end of May and hopefully Scotland later on in the year.

PM me if you want to know more....

All the part numbers match my invoice for the new exhaust we had fitted to our 3.2 elite but after knowing the back box was wrong, im now thinking the center boxes could be wrong too???

The exhaust rattles and vibrates like its touching the bodywork, so could that be because its been fitted with 3.0 center boxes?? Please can someone tell me how they are different?? I really need to know because its going back to the garage for the back box changing, so need the center ones doing too if wrong.....

AFAIK the center pipes are all the same 2,5 thru 3,2, back boxes have only the difference of one/two tails

I think the Estates rear box is different from the saloon. Not sure about the centre sections.

Its all happened today....

Im very happy with the guy at the garage..... Vauxhall have stopped making the 3.2 backbox with the crome tailpipes, and are just fitting the standard twin pipe 3.0 one now.... So he says...!

Anyway Vauxhall are supplying an Irmscher back box instead, totally free... Good on em I say....

Hopefully should have this cock up sorted in a couple of weeks when the part turns up.... ;) Thanks for all the response to my ravings guys
