4 pot cam cover gaskets easy.  Ensure the breathers and throttle body are cleaned as per Audo Addicts guide in Maintenence Guides section, else you'll blow the new ones as well.

Well I've stopped sulking now and weather permitting will attempt the gasket change and probably the breather clear out next weekend.
The timing belt also needs doing but that may be just a bit too far for my brown trousers I might need bycicle clips as well!!

I've just passed 80k it had 68k on it when I bought it in 2004.
Since I started work in the City I have to get the train so the missus uses the car more than I do.

Once I've done the work I think regular length trips might be in order to help blow the cobweb's out of the pipes.......It might help the car as well :)

see how you feel after the cam covers, belt not to bad on 4 pot. more regular oil changes will help keep breathers clear,as will longer journeys. :y
