'02 2.6 stalling
« on: 12 July 2008, 13:04:49 »

Hi everyone,

I've got a 2002 Omega Elite 2.6 which keeps stalling.  Saw a post about hesitation / glitch and learnt about the brake / gas peddle test.

Code reading is coming out as 0335.

Looked at the fault codes in the tech section (but these are for the 2.0i) and that code is for "Incorrect RPM signal".

Does anyone know what that means?

Cheers.

Means you need to change your crank sensor.  And quickly.

Crank sensor failure will cause the car to be towed home.
