Air con just throws in cold air..

Climate is clever, it detects cabin temperature and will throw heat or cold air around to maintain whatever temperature you set it at :y

how easy you reckon to swap regular cold/hot controls for Climate Control? is it just a panel swap?  :-/

Vectra Elite Estate doing good post-Omega service but still not as nice to sit in.

One last Omega on the drive, one Corsa on the lawn...maybe they'll go to a good home before too long!

Nope, there is a lot of ECU integration, wiring, etc. You'd need to be swapping ECU's and numerous Looms -

Absolutely not worth it. Ps - see my reply to your directional air question :y

Sell the car & buy a car with climate! :o It's a lot more than changing the panel.  :y  :y

Nothing is impossible, but swapping manual controls for climate is pretty close to impossible ;D

If you sell your climate panel, the coding is different between saloons and estates.
