Exhaust emissions light - Help
« on: 29 August 2008, 17:51:57 »

Grateful for any advice on the following:-
Just had meega converted to LPG (Zavoli System) (16/08/08). Travelled up to Leeds to see daughter from Hastings (276 miles) on LPG with no issues last Tuesday. Today EML light has come on and tech 2 reveals:-

P0173 - Fuel Trim Malfunction bank 2
P0443 - Vap system leak
P0173 - Fuel Trim Malfunction bank 1
P0308 - Cylinder 3 Misfire
P0306 - Cylinder 6 Misfire
P0700 - Random Misfire

All this seems to indicate air leak and stealers say you can hear leak from back of engine (can't say I can). Apart from a slightly rougher than usual idle when I first noticed the EML, car seems to be running OK whether on LPG or petrol.
2 Questions - Is car OK to drive back 280 miles to Hastings like this so that I can go back to LPG installer and second any tips as to where I can look at back of block when the engine has cooled down!!!
When leak cured will EML light reset without further tech 2?
Only in Leeds till Sunday so would appreciate any quick responses that you guys can give me
