Get the car mechanically sound then make it look nice. Whats the point of a nice looking car if you cant use it?

Absolutely right Sophos! :y :y

It seems to be a man thing that the vehicle has to look like some supercar of those many 'boy racer' car mags., and yet it seems to be forgotten that it is the mechanics that must be A1+ to keep the thing going.  I see it all the time around here with cars displaying great valences, flarings, go faster paintwork, tinted windows, sporty exhausts, etc, etc, but with engines that sound like sxxt and faulty lights that I can out pace anytime I like, much to the men's annoyance! :o :o :o

All right I am a women who cannot understand these things, but I have had cars with rust holes everywhere and been quiet happy with that providing the mechanics have been A1+, which I maintain them at, so I can out accelerate anyone who wants to challenge me!! ;D ;D ;D ;D    It shocked many a BMW driver when my old battered Toyota Carina II Estate was keeping pace with them at 120mph, and indeed that often made them decide to pull over to no doubt check their pride and joys engine out! :o :o :o

So that's what is important; the mechanics not the image, and you can have real fun by doing it that way!! ;D ;D ;)
