Ive got two spare for mine.

I'm not sure how, but I went to a scrapyard... and when I got home I found two D2S's in my pocket  :o

 ;D

Its amazing what you find in your pockets after a trip to the breakers, I think the parts are lonely and jump in there by themselves  ;D

.....The reason I took it to Halfords was Mr Plod was watching me as I came off the M53. Had to look like I was doing something about it ::).
But thanks for the info :y. but I could do with one ASAP Wheres the best in the highstreet to go. ;)

HID lamps are not something that you could be expected to change at the side of the road, although I agree it needs sorting ASAP

Andy, how do these cars get round the european laws of having to carry spare bulbs, and the ability to change at the side of the road.
I was led to believe it was mandatory in some european countries.

Just curios.

Mike

Legal reuirment is to carry spare bulbs that can be changed at roadside.  DS2 bulbs are not considered DIY but dealer replaceable only.  Therefore you are not required to carry HID bulb replacements.  How you explain that to a eurocop i don't know!

Silly really, only a few minutes to swap after allowing voltage to dissipate!
