hello, i just bought a (omega estate 2.6 cd v6 auto) from my uncle, this car held a vauxhall full service history. but yesterday, i found the car have a buzzzzing noise (can feel some shaking fom the seat) when the car stop at traffic lights or parked still. it will stop if the car is moving or rpm over 1100. can anyone please tell me whats wtong with the car? many thanks.

A bit more info might help,so does it do it if you take the car out of gear? Is it a metalic rattle or a scratchy rattle? Thinking heat shields on the exhaust.  Is the ac is on or off? This will make the car vibrate a bit as the engine rpm drops a little.
Is it in time with the engine revs? Or does it have a seperate unrelated tone.
Or is the noise inside the car? Is it through the speakers?  Can you hear it more outside than in?

thanks for your reply chris, the vibrate noise is more inside than outside, can feel shaking from the seat, no matter on what gear or the air con on or off. it disappear when i step on the accelerater. on d , n, or p gear works the same. i did turn off the stereo so the noise should not from the speakers.
