Immobilisor light...
« on: 12 September 2008, 00:27:51 »

Hi,

The Immobilisor light on my 2000 2.5 V6 CDX, has recently started coming on and off intermittantly.  Its abit random and sometimes it stays on for a while and others for a short time.

It starts first time and runs very well.

Any ideas???

Cheers

Are you sure it's not the engine management light? Is it like a picture of an engine?

If so - you need to do the paperclip test in the maintenance section, and post the results here.

Let us know if you need more guidance - we are happy to help :y

I've actually just noticed you are in Bristol, and I will be passing tomorrow afternoon (sometime) on the way to Cardiff.

If you want me to take a look, email me. It'll only cost you a cuppa :y
