ecu on steering column

if i fit a used ecu on the steering column do i have to get it recoded, dont have car pass so what do i have to do to get one and what documents would i have to take to the dealer. car is omega 2.5 v6 1998. HELP

go to vaux with log book and proff of address and ask them to order a car pass normally takes 24/48 hours then you can get it recoded :y

This is immobiliser ecu,and the engine ecu needs to be coded to it.

To program keys to the new immobiliser, you need the security code from the new immobiiliser.
