Hi Guys.
Anyone with any idea why the alloy wheels on my 01 2.2 have what i can only best describe as white staining on them had a go at them with autosol no effect???
Are the wheels anodised?? Or can you get rid of the powder coating and polish them up??

the GLS ones are known for marking/staining/flaking easily

its probably possible to get a refurb, but i didn't, i changed to a nice bargain set of elite wheels when i had mine

VX changed the wheels on the GLS from 2002 onwards, they used the same wheels as the CD from then

The wheels on my 98 cdx where spotless but these ones are spoiling the overall look of the car. Did you pick the wheels up from a breakers and if so did you manage to get the locking wheel nut key with them??

i didnt get them from the breakers, i never get them from breakers because of unseen buckles and stuff, it was another member who sold me the elite alloys after he put irmscher sport stars on his, I had my own wheel nuts and key. the key for the main outer cap on your alloys is the 3 prong one and i'm certain its not universal, i bought one off ebay for a few quid which fitted, i then lost it temporarily lost it and borrowed one off someone from here, that also fitted, then i found mine again and it went when i sold the car

the CDX alloys off your 98 will be the ones that look very similar to those on your GLS, but clearly given the condition, GLS ones just dont seem to get anywhere near as good quality finish!

Ok i have the key with these wheels so i can keep hold of it and it will still fit will keep my eye open for some new wheels.
