Erratic Idle.

Hell this car's jinxed! Engine has started running very rough. When starting from cold it fires first time but after a few seconds revs will idle as high as 2.5k and can sit there for up to a minute, during this the engine light comes on. once fully warmed up things seem to suite a little though power is down. Anyone had similar issues?

Sounds like the ICV needs cleaning.

Definately sounds like dirty ICV - clean out with carb cleaner, oil & refit.

Having somewat sametype off issue on my TD, so wondering what ICV stands for?
