Heater blower motor
« on: 24 November 2008, 17:56:18 »

Where is it located ?

Had a small issue this evening with some smoke coming from the vents and behind the fusebox, gonna have a check to make sure no wires are burnt etc, but i tok the fuse out for the climate control and hey presto no smoke !! so can only assume that maybe the motr has siezed and is burning up back of the dash  ;D :D

It's tucked up behind the glove compartment. The opposite side of the scuttle panel to the cabin filter.

Ugh well its not the blower motor thats free'er than a free thing

Strange thing is you can only smell the burning near the headlight switch, non of the wires are burnt around the fuse box or the relays and there is no smell round the fuse box area so am coming to the conclusion its the headlight switch ?
