That Elite sports leather interior is even better than an MV6 with leather upgrade, as you also get the leather door cards (and heated rear seats I think), instead of the standard cloth door cards fitted to the MV6 with leather... just swap over the carbon effect trims to get rid of the hideous wood ones and the job's a good'un.

Not sure I want the leather door cards by choice - they get a tad warm in summer

I'm more concerned about the seats getting warm in summer... I don't sit on the door cards

It's definitely one of the drawbacks of leather, the heated seats somewhat mitigate the cold in winter but burnt legs when wearing shorts in summer isn't so easy to solve!

I'm frequently a 'windows down' person in the summer, so the leather tops are always a prob for me

Me too, all 4 windows and the sunroof fully open when the weather is nice . As long as you're moving the wind cools the "armrest" on the top of the door pretty quickly.

will you all stop rubbing it in!! i dont have electric back windows, i dont have a sunroof and i dont have leather, and i dont have nice weather either
