heater matrix flush

whats the best and easyest way to flush my heater matrix out i think its starting to get blocked

Disconnect the two fast-on connectors from the bulk head and attach the hose pipe....flush it in both directions

Yep rear left on the bulk head....(this photo has one pipe already removed)

is there a air bleed valve anywhere to get air out the water system after ive flushed the matrix out

Nope, just start the engine with the header tank cap removed, heaters on max heat and let the coolant system heat up to temp. Once the stat is open, the air should now be all gone  :y

great stuff
ill get that done the weekend
and try and get the vacum pipes sorted as well thats the 1 im not 100% sure of doing
ive studied the pics on here and its still a bit tricky
ill print them off and look round the engine again

whats the trick to getting those hoses off the stub pipes from the heater matrix, i can loosen them so they twist but they wont come off
