V6 Query
« on: 04 January 2009, 14:44:09 »

Hi

Can someone point a newbie in the right direction. I wonderi if there are any guidelines on 'how to' change the spark plugs on a 2.6 V6. I've checked the guides on here and can't seem to find any advice.

Any help!!!

Cheers

I'd suggest doing the passenger side first as it's a PITA, the drivers side is dead easy and should be considered a reward after stripping skin from knuckles on the passenger side.  :y

Once the cable tray is removed (pic 13) tie the cable bundle out of the way, I used a bit of string and the bonnet stay... just makes life a tad easier :)

Wish I'd known that (or used common sense lol) when doing the cam cover gaskets - that damn cable tray got right in the way. I didn't think of pulling the loom out of it...  :(
