Towbar Bypass Relay

Hi Guys

I am buying a new tow bar and want to know if i need a bypass relay i will only be towing a trailer tent

I would say no. Wiring is provided to a connector in the rear for the trailer lighting and it's fine to run the trtailer lights directly from there. You will need either a new flasher unit and light for the dash board for the trailer indicatiors, or an audible warning buzzer for same. Optionally, you could buy a bulb failure sensor for the brake lights or this can simply be bypassed.

It's been covered comprehensively in the electrical section so I'd advise doing a search there.
