Well the rear bushes are not fluid filled like the front ones!

Anyway, I also had issues fitting them and the plate method would not work for me so I borrowed (cough, and still have), the proper tool for fitting them  :y

A correct tool? Do vx have a mother in law on the omega tool shadow board? :-)

Soap is an option (not washing up liquid)

ar yeah,  :y i remember hunting round the garage for something with a hole and a diameter to reach the outside edge of the cup. Didnt have anything of that thickness/strength to even make something up.

So pull the arm down, u shape to the back of the arm, and tighten the bugger in, is it a fiddle to get a spanner on the back/top nut to stop it spinning round?

No, easy enough as the arm can be dropped 1-2inches.

You have to pack the bolt out with spacers and washers as the bush is pushed in or the bolt fouls on the chassis

i see....cant find one readily available on the net from kent-moore/lazer or the like, but fell upon this for front wishbone bush alternatives some of the links are clearly those you pressed for me from merle, do you recognise any others as being of any use...maybe?  :)

maybe i should start a new thread with this link http://www.cadillacforums.com/forums/cadillac-catera-cimarron-forum/137056-aftermarket-suspension-bushings.html
