code 16
« on: 23 January 2009, 11:02:22 »

Keep getting code 16 (knock sensor circuit 1), usually in a morning when car is cold.  EML stays on for about 60 secs then goes off.

Is it worth changing the sensor or could there be something else causing the problem???  :(

Knock sensors rarely fail. Check the sensor cable on driver`s bank. Cable is screened coax, could be trapped or worn resulting in electrical interference :y
