yet another problem lol

oh my days im not having any luck am i lol i must like the car

ok this time the prob is

the car is pulling to the left

ive had new wishbones fitted and it laser aligned, only thing guys found was the passenger sterring idle arm was worn and had a lot of play

now when i enter and exit speed humps i can hear a creaking sort of knocking noise coming from front left and when i pull away from standstill

also if i stop and then pull forward gently and then hit the brakes its knocks bad

any ideas are as always greatly appreciated

that sounds like drop links i think.

But hangon.  You took it for allignment (by the way you really need a full geometry on these cars) , they found a problem with the idler, but continued to do the job (I assume).  

I would replace the idler, check and replace droplinks if necessary and then take it back for a free reallignment.

But as said you really need full geometry which includes camber, rear set up etc.

sorry thats what i meant i had done lol was full geometry setup with a full print out before and after

50 quid and it stull pulls arrgghhh

hate to say this m8 if they have set the geometry to vaux spec then it will prob be out specially as u need an idler replace they shouldnt haqve touched anythin as ur tracking will be out if the idler is fubar

they did say it got to be done as they are a very gd reputable company but i also wondered what the knocking could be

also seems to do it when i stationary and rock sterring wheel but that could be idler i spose

just wanna do the whole lot in one go and they sed take it back and will set it up again

To see if the drop links are f**ked do what i was told to do.Unbolt them take the car down the rd etc and see if it still knocks :y
