V6 Exhaust centre sections
« on: 22 February 2009, 20:55:39 »

I vaguely remember someone mention something along the lines of this before but I cannae find it.

are the centre sections of the v6 exhaust the same for the estate as the saloon (talking 2.5 and 3.0 not the newer 3.2 style)

I have a new backbox for the estate and 2 mint centre sections left over from the last elite saloon I broke for spares, will they fit? or is there different bend angles?

cheers

Steve

yeah, we were looking over the bosal book and altho the part numbers are different, the bends look similar. Obvious difference is the length of the rear box and the fact that it exits right at the corner of the bumper unlike the saloon.

i really need to get my 2 poster ramp bought and installed  :-[

A two year old two poster ramp from a garage closing down a few miles from me recently made less than £350 on e-bay...  If I'd had the space to store it, it would have been mine.   ;D

Store it or use it? I'd need an Omega sized hole cutting in my garage roof (and remove all the sh1te in there) before I could use one.  ;D

Store it.  Like yourself, I would have had an omega coming through the kitchen floor like something that should have been on Tracey Island!    ;D

I have the space for one but I know what will happen, Ill get flooded with calls from newly aquired reverse baseball cap wearing neds asking to use my ramp for a couple of hours (turning into days), my tools will go missing and my garage will get trashed.

 :(

Saloon & estate are different.
I tried fitting saloon centres to my estate and they wanted to go through the fuel tank.
