« on: 25 February 2009, 12:12:33 »

asking for help again lol as the matrix enters the engine bay the 2 metal pipes seem to have plastic adaptors to fix the flexi pipes to , is it common for this to be a weak point for a leak when under pressure ???

Would say not. Sure its not dripping off the hbv?Far more common. But i think the connection to those pipes is covered in the flushing guide. Some sort of locking, clip, pain in the arse affair iirc. Maybe they are not seated correctly? But without seeing it, would suggest checking hbv while your in there first.

Sorry, Heater bypass valve. Have a search mate. Its been well covered on here. The most common cause of coolent leaks on the omega. Its above, but slightly to the side of the matrix pipes.
