Have taken dash out of donour mig in just over 2 hours with very little damage to anything until we got to the wall of plastic behind the centre console which we took a number of various screws / bolts out of still to find none of the plastic wanted to come away.
It went smoething like plastic meet hammer. >:(bang..... wallop..... crack...... snap. Matrix flow and return pipes off bit more cracking and snapping and
yeah
the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. a good condition heater matrix with no gunge or crud coming out. flushed matrix and short pipes that go through bulk head, sorted.
Then it dawned on me
, I can't bang or wallop the mountain of plastic in the recieving car. :-/Any idea's on how to gently remove the mound of plastic air vents and tunnels. Just cant wait to be driving in a nice warm mig again. Thinking it's going to take bit longer to replace the good for the bad. Also how does one remove dash withought simply chopping the feeds to the passanger air bag? Another floor in my vague plan.
