Yes; don't own a V6 2.5 to 3.2 miggie, or an auto, or drive around town, or drive at high speeds, or own any Omega!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;)  Gurgle gurgle gurgle, all that lovely fuel going down!! ;D ;D ;D ;)

I tend to knock mine into neutral if sat at lights or in traffic for a while, but does it matter if you just sit on the brake? :-/

On the topic of ecomony, what would be the difference between a manual / automatic in terms of MPG with the same driving style and conditions.

TB, , How do I know if mine has a 5th gear? Is there a way to verify the engine number?
Thanks

Downside of footbrake in those conditions is its easy to warp pattern discs if you've been driving in a spirited manor, then sit with pads hard on the hot disc ::)

Fuel economy not really affected, but I pop in N and handbrake on to
a) use the handbrake ;D
b) extend the lift of my discs ::)

1st bit, impossible to say - auto should be similar to manual on a 50+mph cruise, around town, manual better mpg.

You're 2.0l is a 4 speed AR25 box...
