dead lock

when i try to dead lock from the key two press's to lock it somtimes dosnt respond  ::)

any ideas?? :y

Maybe keyfob on its way out or may just need resetting.  Put key in ignition turn on and press keyfob until doors look (IIRC)

Someone will be along to confirm it soon

Maybe keyfob on its way out or may just need resetting.  Put key in ignition turn on and press keyfob until doors look (IIRC)

the key works everytime to just lock but not on the double press to dead lock
whats(IIRC)mean :-?

If I Remeber Correctly :y

Put new batteries in your remote, switch the ignition on to red lights (number 2) and press the lock button until the locks pop down and up and you've reset it :y

Mine does this sometimes, if its not the battery maybe you are waiting too long, i have read that it has to be pressed for the second time within 3 seconds.

Mine does this sometimes, if its not the battery maybe you are waiting too long, i have read that it has to be pressed for the second time within 3 seconds.

done all of the above and still no joy >:(

i think its one i will have to live with :'(

i have bigger problems at the moment my plugs are submurged in 2 inch of oil so of with the plenum rocker covers etc etc.--- new seals sealent(black :y) o rings clear breathers  new plugs new ht leads 3.0 cams and im nearly back to sortin out the dead locking issue
i wish money did grow on trees i really do :)
