crank seal? Pita job. But more likely to be cam covers, running down between the front  of the block and rear cam belt cover. If i understand your post correctly.

When you say you have had the rocker (cam) covers checked, how was this done?
They can't really be checked properly without removing the covers, which in almost all cases necessitates a replacement of the gaskets.

Also, did this include a check for oil in spark plug holes? If there's oil in there it will have come from a failure the cam cover gaskets.

You should be cautious about ruling out the cam covers/gaskets until it's clear how they were checked.

To do: Replace brake discs and pads; adjust already replaced shoes; check for leaks in oil cooler, cambelt area, crank seals, sump, dipstick; replace osf door; replace a tyre; clean, MOT.

Hi. I had something like this with my V6. Had the cam covers done and breather cleaned (that was part of the problem) but the leak was still there. Loo Knee and Pete found it and sorted it for me. It turned out to be a weeping joint in oil cooler pipe, down in the Vee between the heads IIRC. The oil had been dripping down the back of the engine. New washers/seals. Fixed now! :y
