Air con temp.
« on: 26 May 2009, 21:42:23 »

Hi, does any one know what the temperature should be at the air vents, with the air con on low, in Auto mode. Cheers.

It's not air con, it's climate control, so the temperature you see at the vents will be dependant on the ambient temperature of the passenger compartment.

As an assumption though, if you select "Lo" on the temperature guage while it is 20°C inside the car, I would expect to see less than 5°C at the vents on a thermometer after 1 minute of running.

I get a steady 40F, around 5c at the vents when on at LO setting.  :)

Much Higher temp than this I would think a re-gas/service would be required.

I think most air con specialists would say any lower would not be advised  :y
