Part Number Needed For Front Caliper Sliding Bolts

Has Heading,
Looking for a part number for the sliding bolts on the front caliper of a pre facelift 3.0 v6 elite

I tried to buy some a year or so back, Dealer maintained they were not available.

Hope someone knows otherwise.

If its the long sort of shaft that has a rubber boot over the end then that isn't available. You can get the rubber boot and the bolt though

Thats what the dealer told me, but you know what there like ::)

one of the rubber boots has come loose and the sliding bolt has rusted up and it's causing a slight judder when braking :o

I think I have a spare. I will have a look and let you know.
I had one sieze and bought a whole new caliper so I think the un-siezed one is in the garage.

Hi Jim, just had quick look but no joy. It is in a box with other bits i wanted to keep and as I still have the old caliper and bracket I am sure it is there somewhere. I will have a better look on the weekend when I am rebuilding the bike engine and let you know if I find it.

Get a wire brush on it, and refit it with a bit of coppaslip....problem solved.

remember to clean the inside iof the caliper too, not just the sider.
