think its just a case of fitting the correct stork and then it needs to be activated via a tech 2  :y

Yup, pretty straight forward, get yourself a stalk with the cruise control buttons, better normally getting a new stalk, takes 5 minutes to swap it over and arrange a quick chat with Tech2.

Theres a guide for it on here.

It may work without the need of TECH2, its seems to be random if it does work straight away or not.

Is it literally as easy as that. Nothing needed under the bonnet ?.  I haven't taken the stork off to take a look BUT the small connector is there as i can see it poking out.

OOOOOOO  What do I need for a 98 2.5CD which, as far as I know, isn't drive by wire.

actuator and cable ( short or long plenum ? cables a differant size )
4 pin clutch and possibly a brake switch  :y
on the 2.5 / 3.0 ltr v6, you just put it together and it should work mate  :y

pm one of the breakers on here for price  :y
