Total climate control failure
« on: 04 July 2009, 11:46:20 »

Over the last three days i have just coverd nearly 1000 miles with no problems at all untill about 10 miles from home, i came to a junction and stopped and the climate panel went dead, no fans, aircon, nothing, i tried to turn it back on again while waiting for the lights to change but it showed nothing. When i started moveing again i tried to turn it on again and it all struck up and worked fine untill i stopped again when it all went dead again and now it will not turn on at all, either stood still or moving. It is a 2002 CDX DTI, just wondered if anyone has any ideas what the problem could be as all help would be much appriciated.

Thanks in advance

Jez

On mine it all runs off one fuse, the same fuse as the cigarette lighter. When that blows is all goes.

I'd check the fuse is firmly in.

Cheers Jason, fuse had blown and traced it to a faulty sat nav power lead, cool air again  :y
