Freshen up suspension - springs and bushes
« on: 07 July 2009, 23:13:48 »

Right, my miggy has nearly 70k on it and I want to a) freshen up the worn bushes etc to benefit from it during my ownership and b) firm it up a bit as I prefer something a bit more controlled.

Does anybody know how much facelift MV6 springs are and do they have the part numbers? I think that this is all I need for aesthetics, but the other option would be Eibach -30mm.

I would match either of the above springs with a bilstein shock, not sure which one - any suggestions? I have to keep the ride supple but I want to get rid of the wallow (something akin to a Saab 9000 Aero but not so stiff legged). Lower profile tyres will go on eventually buy maybe not just yet.

Also, has anybody bothered with powerflex / superflex bushes? I have used them on other vehicles and have been happy.

Thanks.
