I'm hoping it's not in the other pcb's as that would mean a trip to the vx garage for a replacement cid @ £500.00

Bet they won't supply you a cid for £500 - be double that ;)

Yip rung parts it's £315.00 +vat for display and they say that they will allow 2 hours labour at £55.00 +vat /hr.
Tech guy says he could sort it within hour so would end up paying just 1 hours labour.

I know I shouldn't be advertising here but just trying to give something back for all your help, I was able to get the LCD screen from a friend through the MB garage they are the LQAW136 type - he has 2 perhaps 3 left at £150.00 + postage if anybody wants one just give me a reply.  :y
