Omega Prices
« on: 30 November 2007, 19:38:54 »

Does any one know how much omega prices drop per year (Percentage, price, etc). For example, if the average 2003 3.2 elite is £4000, can anyone work out what it will be the next year or maybe in 5 years. is there a pattern?

there's ALOT to be taken into account when pricing up a used omega

there's an 03 2.6 elite on trader for under £3000 at the moment for example, but probably more on there for £5000, all depends

my rule of thumb (and only that) is depreciation of about 30% per year (which equals about halving in value every 2 years). Depends on many things though and like for like ie private sale to private sale, rather than dealer to private sale.

it depends what the demand is and how much you are prepared to pay, look at this fella, he is expensive but always sells his cars, i got my CDX from him and paid a little over the top, but it was exactly what i wanted.
