Hi, is there something special about genuine VX HT leads as i just got quoted £204 for a set :o

i could do them for approx £185.00 for an engine set + VAT but in answer to your question, No there isn't as long as you use good pattern ones.

To be honest i've got pattern ones on my V6 and haven't had a problem, just make sure the plug wells are free from oil

Partco do good quality Unipart ones for about £25.00 a set  :y

Yep, I did a little shopping round local shops/factors when VX tried to relieve me of nearly £200 for a set, and came up with a set from a local shop for about £35 (ordered in)

No probs with them whatsoever; mind you, half the previous set had slowly cooked in oil  :-/
