I hope mine is as good.

The exhaust decided to blow last night and its booked in this evening on the way home.

I'm unable to tell where its gone but I'll be quite happy just to pay £90 :D

Sterefree - at £90 you did indeed get a bargain.

Went to my local tyre & exhaust place last night on the way home to get them to check my blown exhaust.

After much sucking of air through teeth and plenty of "tut, tuts" - "Yes sir, you need the middle section & back box - that'll be £218 please"!!!!!!!!!!

Think I need to shop around :'(

Try eternal car (ebay or web) if you don't mind fitting yourself.  I think I recall that 2.2 is 3 piece (2 parallel centre sections and a back box, just like the V6), whereas the 2.0 is just the two.

..or there was a Polish ebayer selling stainless systems that was discussed on here recently.

Thanks Ians for the recommendation.

You're right - a "Y" piece from the cat then splits into 2 x centre sections coming together again into the one backbox.

I have a friend who is going to effect a tempoary rrepair to allow me the time to look for something more reasonably priced. ;)
