2.5td injection pipes
« on: 29 August 2009, 01:11:41 »

Does anyone have images, diagrams or instructions on how the injection pipes run from the pump to the injectors ?
I've re-fitted my re-con'd pump, but this time I've lost track of how the pipes interlink. They're still on the injectors, but have been slackened off to allow the loose pump ends to pivot out of the way whilst re-fitting the pump.

Last time they went back ok, but this time I've somehow got them mixed up.  :-[

These are how they connect, as viewed from front of car:

Ah, there may be a slight problem. There aren't any.  ::)
The techie that serviced the pump said someone had fiddled with it previously. There were no plastic clamps fitted since I've had the car.
Anyhoo, job done. Starts on the button and drives nice. Now then, where did I put that chip ? :y

Right 'en butt, you'll need to source and fit a set of pipe clamps pronto!
I've never known injector pipes last long without them - bitter past experiences mate!
