miss fire v6 cdx

just spent the morning changing the spark plugs on my 2.5 v6 cdx what a pig of a job , still got the miss fire i need to change the coil pack and leads any ideas on what needs to be removed ....cheers .

Either
-wiper motor / scuttle

or
-top half of inlet manifold

or possibly both depending on personal preference & how big your hands are.

It may actually be possible without removing anything given sufficient determination but you will be working by touch and your arms will look as though you have been swimming with Piranha fish afterwards.

thanks everyone for the advice , doing the job over the next few days ...... just out of interest crown motors our local vauxhall dealer in dagenham now closed, and cant believe vauxhall are pulling out of BTCC this year .

Crown motors! yes i heard that too! i was only there Wednesday last week, phoned them on thursday and they in administration!
I also removed my coil pack yesterday, wipers and scuttle off and i got to it ok, had to remove wiper motor mechanism to give space to actually remove it though!
where in Essex are you?
