Clutch kits?

i'm trying to buy a replacement clutch kit for my 2.6 2002 miggy. a couple of suppliers keep going on about a new spiggot bearing. do i need to replace this too? i've been told that is never fails.

If thats the thrust bearing then yes it is better to replace it.
They can run dry or knack up big style.

Hope the car gets me to marky marks on monday, can hardly get it in gear at the mo. it goes in but you have to wait till engine revs drop to below 2000 rpm before it does
