Clutch release bearing type sound
« on: 16 September 2009, 01:31:26 »

Just a quick question I hope, but when I stamp my foot on the accelerator I can hear what sounds like some worn clutch release bearings, its an autobox so I guess there's no such thing. Has anyone got any idea where its coming from, I'm 100% sure is coming from the gearbox since I can hear some clicks outside when I'm driving with the window down.

I recently changed the autobox fluid, filter and topped it up recently, if that helps?

Thanks

I had something similar on my last car, it turned out to be one of the heat shields on the manifold,
