Front wishbones
« on: 16 October 2009, 09:36:42 »

Hi,

I apologise in advance as this has probably been asked and answered a thousand times before, however I cant seem to find it,
I am looking for the part numbers for both n/s and o/s front wishbones I am looking to get the genuine ones as the last ones were advisory on the MOT even though only a year old... they were cheap and you get what you pay for I suppose.

If anyone has access to Vauxhall price guides would appreciate current costs for retail trade etc.

Regards
Steve

Sorry I can't help with the part #'s but have you looked at powerflex or similar bush kits?

You could replace the knackered bushes on your current wishbones knowing that the bushes will last longer than your car!

Unless you're feeling rich at the moment I'd stick another pair of pattern ones on... Get the more expensive ones (I can't remember who they come from but someone will be along soon ::) ::)).

Genuine Vx ones are about £150 each IIRCC :o :o :o

If you go pattern make sure you don't get the ones sold by 'Buy Parts By'.

Rebush your old ones.
I have the GM small ones so you just need the larger front ones, which you could go poly or Meyle.
