oil filter
« on: 13 October 2009, 02:31:35 »

I've been given a oil filter for my 2.0 but it looks much smaller than the one that's on there at the moment.
Can anyone confirm this is the right one.

No idea but, given they only cost about £1.50 for a genuine one on trade club, is it worth bothering with?

Think most Vauxhalls take a 4722. If you're changing the oil every 4k or so it shouldn't make any difference.

Although I've just remembered that some of the Omegas went to paper cartridge filters for a while. Early ones from 2000, I think.

Why bother with patten? Buy a box of 20 from Vx on trade and they work out at £1 each!
