handbrake lever assembly broken
« on: 27 October 2009, 16:49:56 »

After a MOT fail on handbrake, I stripped the brakes down (1998 Omega Elite 3ltr Auto) and found the spring clip on the handbrake lever assembly was broken. Vauxhall main dealers don’t even show this on the system, just the two parts of the lever assembly.  Has any one got a workaround for this part?

Don't recall such a spring on mine - but then it was dark, and Mr DTM was doing most of the work, and left me to do the simple jobs like file down the pads ::)
