Good ole training......had a few members of staff ask me to help them out with applications and knowledge on certain aspects for their interviews, whilst I am not their manager, it's not a problem. But yesterday one member of staff came up and said are you busy, I said well yes, but what is it, he asked the questions, gave him a few pointers, and told him all you need for the interview is the key aspects, not in depth, and they may not even touch on some of them, I also told him that most of the information is available online through our own website and that he does need to do his homework, anyway off he went, I finished what I was doing, then thought, better show him where to find the info on the web. Went over to his desk oposit his manager, was trying to show him where to find the info, his manager then butted in asking me for some other info., that she did'nt know, as her manager was next to her. I promptly said do you mind, I am trying to help john out here, which is what you should be doing and not me as I am not his manager, and I proceeded to assist John. Well that shut her up,and her manager never muttered a word. Anyway seen John this morning when I was less busy before his interview and mentioned a few other aspects to him, that he was'nt aware of. He came back this afternoon and said thanks as the info; etc., I gave him in the morning turned out to be one of the keys interview questions

........So I said that'll be drinks on you then if you get the job, but don't invite your manager
