Resuming Cruise.
« on: 07 December 2009, 23:36:35 »

This puzzles me.  Why doesn't cruise always resume when you press the R button....in fact it rarely does.

Cruise works fine but after having touched the break or accelerater...cruise doesn't always resume..

Why and under what circumstances does it not ?

I have the same problem ... and sometimes it doesn't "resume"  it sets a new speed.... and before anyone asks .. yes .. I'm pressing the right button !!!!  I've checked several times !!  :)

I find you must tap the resume button. Press it for any longer than a tap and it sets the current speed. :y

Might well be different on a Simtec ECU.

Mines a relatively new stalk and it's needs a hardish tap to activate, but does work every time.

my 2.5 was a bit fussy. Put it down to the age of the stalk/car, (98).

My 3.2 is fine though.
