Heater not getting warm
« on: 07 December 2009, 19:52:21 »

Hi guys this is my first Omega (52plate 3.2 Elite) the heater doesnt get warm even when engine upto temp. The vents between front seats to direct air into rear get luke warm I have to sit in the car for at least 20mins before I can demist the screen. Can anyone help as I dont want this fault to put me off the cat. Cheers guys and dolls JPL.

Switch the climate control light OFF. This will turn climate control ON.
Switch climate/heater control to auto, then switch to recirculated air and this will demist the whole car fairly quickly.

If you have the owners manual it is described in there along with piccys of the appropriate controls.

Are you saying you get no heat at all at any time or is just the delay in getting heat that concerns you?
