I have again located one I lke, a little OVER my budget, but what the hell, and it does not have leather so I am asking is can a Y Reg (31 May 2001) 2.2 CDX Petrol have the seats upgraded to leather? The seats there are already power seats.
Cheers
Diane
I`ve got an "X" 2.0 CDX full history needs replacement headgasket (aboutŁ150 diy) Was breaking but it`s cheap and if you know someone to do the work ::) ;D

Take the leather out fit it to the new car, and break the rest, should make a profit.  :y
No leather in it Tunnie. If there had of been I would of removed it ages ago. Not very keen on the seasonal extremities. Burning arse/freezing arse ::)

D'oh thought yours had leather, hence your posting it on here  :)

Have to agree on the leather front, swapping cars around on the drive, jumped into father tunnies which has leather, bit of my back cause the leather......ooooww that was cold!

Cloth for me, warm in winter, cool in summer  8-)

I agree, mine is leather, and would have preferred cloth for the same reason, especially as my seat heating packed up after a year. :( :( :(

Guys, you've kinda hijacked a newbie's post here somewhat.  :-X

Diane, I don't know exactly what your budget is but by my reckoning, you should try and buy as specced up a car as you can in the first place. True, you can transplant leather at a later date. I may have missed what your budget is or what year and type you are looking for but there are a fair few Miggys about and you can afford to be picky. If it were me, I would definitely look for one that has a good long MOT, something that's had cambelts and waterpump done (Or better still, buy cheaper and get one of the many guys on here who know what they are doing to do it for you) I'd also recommend looking for one that's had its wishbones replaced and the idler done too. :y
