I just think it easier to remove the bloody heads  ::)
You should know i suppose daz,but ive only ever done a four pot,never a v6,and that was a bit of a barstool,with studs snapping off etc. >:(

I suppose it is down to personally preference and opinion. :)

Got the dipstick out by brute force and twisting. Some manifold bolts loosened

Getting tired now.

I always tend to find having someone help with a job like that,so when your getting tired and frustrated the other takes over.A lways worked for me anyway. :y

Was that the cylinder head or the bolt head? Mine actually came undone quite easily.
