I may have mentioned this before, but tonight my six-year old daughter came up to me while I was one here to ask if I could read her a bedtime story. She always looks at the screen and the animated avatars stick out like sore thumbs on an otherwise static page. If my mind is alert, I have to quickly stop reading and minimise the window.

Now, I'm not a prude by a long shot. I love filthy jokes (as you may know) and have no problem with adult material in the right place. However, given the nature of this forum I would like to ask whether some of the avatars on here are really suitable. To my way of thinking avatars should pass a simple test: Would I let my six-year see this? If the answer is no, I wouldn't use it.

I'm not having a go at anyone in particular, just making a comment.  :y

In all seriousness Nick, a quick PM to any you find annoying or inappropriate normally brings the desired effect.

I'll keep an eye out on my PM inbox.  :y

We do aim to be family friendly and all inclusive.

Naturally, when a bunch of blokes get together, the language may go downhill, and the jokes get near the knuckle. And often sexist.

I have no issues with any avatar I have seen on here.  In fact, I welcome Missy MV6's bum, and Iggy's 'tat tanning' ;D
