i take the negative guys are x box men then
I own an xbox 360, but do not own a single xbox 360 game.  So i am not an xbox man.

But I still think the sledgehammer will be the most fun possible on a ps3

Fanstastic game with the PS3.

Put it in middle of garden, then educate it with Sammy Sledgehammer.  What fun :y

That is the best fun anyone could have with a ps3. I wholeheartedly agree with the above advice.

i dont have it but i hear COD4 is a MUST for ps3!!

not my type of game tho! waitin on GTA5 :D

I think you may be waitin quite a while for GTA5, after all the hassle rockstar games are having with Manhunt 2. I suspect GTA5 will be a very sombre affair.

As for COD4 got if for my PC can't say I am that impressed with it in multiplayer mode, in COD2 i used to finish in the top 3. Now I am usually bottom in COD4.

Maybe it is just me

no its me too,in cod2 if you fired your gun within 6 foot of anyone they died(especially the sniper rifles ) you need to actually aim on cod4 which makes for a better game and like me you need more practice :y

Well I don't have a biased opinion because we do have a 360 and a PS3 in our household :y

Call of Duty 4 is a good online game.
We did have Motorstorm which looks and plays great but we got bored of it so part-exed it.

Our most recent game is Drakes Fortune which was made exclusivlely for the PS3 if you have ever played Tomb Raider it's very similar in that he has to complete little puzzles on his quest for hidden treasure. The graphics look great and he moves around really easily. There seems to be a lot of shooting going on too.Baddies trying to stop Drake and his lady friend from reaching the treasure. There is no online mode with this game and it is only a 1 player game. I had it delivered for £32.99 from Play.Com

We now tend to hire games for a couple of nights from Blockbusters to see if we actually like them before forking out £40/£50.

My hubby hired Assasins Creed and although it looks stunning he didn't like the gameplay at all.But that was just his opinion

A problem both 360 and PS3 have as games consoles is the games.  Both MS and $ony have gone for the top graphics and complex plots/gameplay games which take weeks to get into.  Thats fine for teenage kids, but then the consoles and games are mostly priced out of that market. Virtually all of these games are not shareable, so a group can't sit and have a laugh.

Nintendo has got it right for adults with the Wii, as can be seem from the success of the console, easily outselling XBOX360, PS2, and PS3 together every month.  The console is fairly simple, not particularly powerful, but the games are instantly 'pick up and playable' and are great fun when a few of you get together on the sofa.  Most games are playable by a group, and the innovative control system adds to the fun.

If I was to buy a console for games (my 360 is purely and extender for MCE, not games), it would be a Wii, as its simply more fun than that anything MS or Pony and trap can offer.

We did buy a Wii last Christmas for a family present. When we first opened it and played it WOW it was fantastic. We all had a great laugh playing Bowling and Tennis. We had quite a few guests over Christmas and everyone joined in and had a laugh ;D
My favourite game was Raving Rabbids.Tried Zelda but couldn't really get the hang of it.
By Feb we weren't really playing it anymore I think the novelty had wore off by then.So we decided to sell on e-bay and we spent the profits by going to Blackpool for a day out  ;D

Missy - I agree, the novelty will wear off.  But for me, any console would suffer that.  At least the Wii can come out again whenever you come back from the pub with your mates.  Other than that, I doubt I'd play on a games console much....
