Story is I bought a genuine vauxhall selector switch brand new in package for £4.99. Problem being no one new what car it is for. Now I compared as many pictures as I can and the only difference I can see is the wiring on my one is slightly longer. I would like a broken one just to do a final comparison. All the wiring colours look the same, and the plug is the same. So maybe I have bought a lemon or maybe I done ok.

Would it do any harm just to fit and try it?
If that all it cost! :y
